The COVID19 has most of staying home for days with no return to normal life, at least in the upcoming weeks. The society is at a halt, and most of the day-to-day activities have been put to a temporary stop. The verdict is not to step outside lest an ongoing virus endangers the human species. While it does sound like a plot of a science fiction movie, most people, surprisingly, have found a way to adjust their professional and personal life within the boundaries of their homes. People are coming up with various ideas and ideas to live the quarantine days with the least amount of compromise. One such idea came from R’s Just Hair Salon YouTube page. In the video, Ruchi Sawhney, owner of the said salon, can be seen explaining to us how we can trim our hair in these times that require a self-help attitude towards every task.

The first step that Ruchi mentions is to take out a center parting and pull some hair from either side of the parting. If you have a long face, take a round section. People with broader faces can take a v-section to complement their face shape. Now, use a scissor to cut the fringe, but be aware that you don’t cut it off in a single slash. Hold the scissor at an angle and cut the fringes bit by bit. Lastly, use some hair serum to style your hair.

The video has been making rounds on social media and has been especially popular among ladies in Gurgaon, Delhi, and surrounding areas. Most people are taking the COVID19 stay at home haircut challenge and posting their videos and photos on social media. If you find the video interesting and are ready to give yourself a quarantine haircut, do send us your pictures and videos and post in under the hashtag #rsjusthairsalon and #ruchisawhney.
